Rym Ayadi is Honorary Professor at CASS Business School, Faculty of Finance and Member of the Centre for Banking Research (CBR) at the City University in London, Founding President of the Euro-Mediterranean Economists Association and Founder and Scientific Director of the Euro-Mediterranean Network for Economic Studies (EMNES).

Professor Barbara Casu Lukac is the Director of the Centre for Banking Research at Cass Business School. Barbara joined the Faculty of Finance at Cass in August 2007.Previously, she was a Senior Lecturer in Financial Studies with the University of Wales, Bangor.She has also worked at the University of Reading (UK); Aston University (UK) and the Catholic University of Milan (Italy).

Giovanni is a Professor of Economics and Vice-Rector of Teaching and Students’ Rights at LUMSA University.Between 1999 and 2012, he was the Chair of the Department of Economics and Vice-Rector for International Relations at the University of Bari. He previously served as Principal Financial Economist at the World Bank (1998-99).

Doriana Cucinelli is Assistant Professor in Financial Intermediaries at University of Milano-Bicocca, Italy. She is also SDA Fellow in Banking and Insurance at SDA Bocconi School of Management and associate researcher at the International Research Centre on Cooperative Finance (IRCCF) of HEC Montréal.

Sandra is a faculty member at ESDES Business School in Lyon. She is also an associate researcher at the International Research Centre on Cooperative Finance (IRCCF) of HEC Montréal, at the University of Montpellier France, Montpellier Research in Management
and “Labex entreprendre” Units.

Willem Pieter is a Research Fellow & Heading the Financial Markets and Institutions Unit at the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) in Brussels and an associate researcher at the International Research Centre on Cooperative Finance (IRCCF) of HEC Montréal

Associate Professor in Banking and Finance at Sapienza University of Rome, where he teaches “Corporate Finance” and “Corporate and Investment Banking”. He is the author of several publications on banking strategies and organization, bank business models, performance evaluation, internal control systems & risk management, private equity & venture capital, corporate finance.

Walid is a Senior Data Scientist Consultant. He holds a Ph.D. in Data Science from HEC Montreal. He was researcher at the International Research Centre on Cooperative Finance (IRCCF) at HEC Montreal & a Senior Consultant at Deloitte Canada. He is an expert in Python, R, and SAS, and he has a deep knowledge of Machine Learning and Applied Statistics.

Paola Bongini is Full Professor of Banking and Finance, University of Milano-Bicocca, where she teaches Financial Institution Management and Investments. Her research interests are in empirical banking, financial regulation and financial literacy/education.

Lütfi served as a credit risk manager in various Turkish and Dutch commercial banks for thirteen years. He later took a career break to study the banking track of MSc in Finance at the University of Amsterdam and PhD in banking at the Marmara University consecutively. He is currently working on his PhD dissertation titled “Herding channel of systemic risk in EU banking: Do business models and their similarities matter?”.
